I am a Post-Doctoral Associate at MIT Sloan’s initiative on the digital economy. My research interest is in the interface of digitization, strategy, and operations management.

I currently study the growth of digital firms and the challenges they face in various business areas. AT MIT, I mainly focus on studying Web3 and emerging blockchain-based technologies. Continuing my Ph.D. research, I also study the scalability of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solutions and the value of data for digital firms.

I received my Ph.D. in Technology and Operations Management from Harvard Business School. I completed my undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) at the University of Tehran and have a master’s degree in communication systems from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Lausanne (EPFL). I also hold another master’s degree in Decision, Risk, and Operations Management from Columbia Business School.
